Tsai Ming-liang’s Days is a slow & erotic tale of loneliness and human connection. The long, lingering shots—some that are as long as ten minutes—may test your patience, but the observations of men in states of loneliness, at peace with themselves made for an utterly enthralling experience.

Born in Kuching, Malaysia, he graduated from the Drama and Cinema Department of the Chinese Cultural University of Taiwan and worked as a theatrical producer and TV director.
